Description
The Brick and Stone Mason participates in the realization of construction, renovation and restoration projects of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional buildings and/or civil engineering structures.
Responsibilities
• Lay brick, sawn stone, glass blocks, cut stone, prefabricated concrete architectural elements using mortar, cement or any other adhesive.
• Restore masonry works by shoring, dismantling, reassembling, anchoring and leveling facings, repairing joints, remodeling and repairing masonry elements, cleaning and protecting surfaces.
• Cut, saw, and draw the joints of the masonry pieces.
• Perform any other related task.
Requirements
• Studies in bricklaying-masonry (asset).
• Field experience in construction sites.
• Have good knowledge related to the application of mathematics and geometry concepts, alignment and spatial perception of masonry elements.
• Meticulous.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to lift loads.
