The Construction flagger is responsible for ensuring the safety of workers and road users during road work on various construction sites.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the safety of road users and workers by managing the movement of equipment on site in the work zone.
• Direct traffic (vehicles, trucks, cyclists, pedestrians) near roadworks according to standards and procedures established by the company.
• Enforce safety standards.
• Give directions and traffic control signals clearly and precisely so that drivers understand their meaning.
• Maintain communication with other flaggers, construction crews, and vehicular traffic.
• Install and uninstall traffic signs when the intervention requires it.
• Perform any other related task.
Requirements
• Be attentive, foreseeing, organized, autonomous.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Substantial standing, walking, bending, lifting.
• Remain in a stationary position for long periods at a time.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a team and have a courteous approach with citizens.
