Description
The Formworker Carpenter plays a crucial role in diverse construction projects, spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. This role involves the preparation, assembly, and installation of formwork, contributing to the creation of robust and sustainable structures.
Responsibilities
• Load and unload construction materials and place them in work areas.
• Carry out formwork of all types (walls, slabs, etc.).
• Attach reinforcement.
• Assemble and dismantle concrete formwork, scaffolding, access ramps, walkways, shoring and barriers on construction sites.
• Pouring, spreading and polishing concrete.
• Level the ground to the specified slope using rakes and shovels.
• Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
• Operate hammers, vibrators and pneumatic rammers as directed.
• Power or monitor the operation of machines or equipment used on construction sites, including mixers, compressors and pumps.
• Perform other tasks on construction sites as directed.
