Description
Labourers - Building are responsible for providing the necessary assistance for commercial, institutional and industrial construction projects. You actively participate in the different phases of construction projects. Under the supervision of the site team, you contribute to the preparation, implementation and completion of various construction-related tasks.
Responsibilities
• Load and unload construction materials at job sites.
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, access ramps, walkways and barriers.
• Mix, pour materials.
• Help qualified workers carry out their work.
• Assist with site preparation by moving materials, digging and grading.
• Assist with building demolition work.
• Removing debris on construction sites.
• Assist in laying foundations, installing structures and finishing.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety standards and procedures.
• Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
• Experience as a construction laborer (asset).
• Ability to work physically, including handling tools and lifting loads.
• Knowledge of safety standards on construction sites.
• Proactive attitude, versatility and team spirit.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt.
• Collaborate with other trades.
• Valid driver's license an asset.
