Description
The plumber - pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing and piping systems. He works on a wide variety of commercial, public and/or industrial projects, ensuring the quality of work while respecting current standards and regulations.
You may be required to work in projects to create and renovate mechanical rooms, carry out energy efficiency projects, replace and install equipment such as boilers, chillers, water towers and others, major renovations, etc. The challenges are always stimulating and diverse.
Responsibilities
• Assemble, install, maintain, repair different types of pipes and components on different types of networks (steel, copper, plastic).
• Handle and install heating equipment (boilers, coolers, etc.).
• Install finishing devices.
• Read and interpret plans, work orders, diagrams and technical data sheets.
• Draft sketches or diagrams when necessary in planning.
• Carry out leaktightness tests before supplying power to the network.
• Clean and treat piping and networks.
• Start up networks and systems and ensure their proper functioning.
• Performs work according to current standards, codes and regulations.
• Perform any other related task.
