Description
As a Plumbing Project Manager, you play a central role in the management and coordination of plumbing projects in the residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional sectors. This position offers an opportunity to lead varied projects, from design to completion, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Plan, organize and direct plumbing projects from start to finish.
• Analyze plans and quotes.
• Participate in cost evaluation and production of estimates.
• Plan supplies after negotiations as well as deliveries to the various sites.
• Ensure links with various professionals.
• Diagnose and communicate possible obstacles to achieving objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
• Participate in the design of plumbing systems in collaboration with engineers.
• Ensure compliance of plans with local regulations and industry standards.
• Supervise field work teams.
• Manage the allocation of necessary human and material resources.
• Monitor costs related to materials, labor and equipment.
• Report regularly on the financial status of the project.
Requirements
• Experience in plumbing, ventilation, heating and building mechanics project management.
• Training in plumbing and/or building mechanics, an asset.
• Knowledge of management software: Smartuse, Procore, etc.
• Be comfortable with Office suite: Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Knowledge of Autocad software, an asset.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam software, an asset.
• Ease of working in a team.
• Good ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines
• Responsiveness to problem management.
• Sense of organization and planning.
• Autonomous and proactive.
• Methodical mind.
