Description
Water Service Worker are responsible for installing water, sanitary or storm pipes for road projects, aqueduct networks, sanitary and storm sewers, pumping stations and carrying out various related tasks specific to earthworks-sewer-aqueduct projects.
Responsibilities
• Actively participate in site operations relating to the installation of sewer and water pipes.
• Carry out the installation of drainage, water and sewer pipes.
• Assist the foreman and operators in the sewer and aqueduct installation team.
• Preparation of stone courses / compaction & installation of pipes.
• Follow health and safety regulations on site.
• Be able to work in a team.
• Perform any other related tasks necessary for the work.
Requirements
• Have experience in a similar position (an asset).
• Have a valid driving license.
• Be able to use a wide variety of safety tools and equipment.
• Demonstrate versatility and autonomy.
• Be resourceful, meticulous and vigilant.
• Skills for working alone and in a team.
• Have good physical condition.
